VSA Future’s SAT Prep

About VSA Future

VSA Future offers supportive and interactive online learning through virtual classes that take on a holistic approach to learning. We also provide comprehensive guides to the college application process and SAT preparations facilitated by our award-winning teachers. Our experienced teachers are skilled in age-appropriate virtual teaching methods that keep students engaged during class.

VSA Future was founded by Julia Guo in 2015 with the aim of helping parents and students appreciate the importance of education at an early age. At VSA Future, it is our mission to guide students to become analytical thinkers, deft writers, and confident public speakers. We hone our students by teaching them how to research, build, and support original ideas with clarity and precision in our English, writing, and public speaking classes. We also equip students with a firm grasp on mathematical concepts and data analysis to ensure that they will be well-rounded students who would easily get accepted into their preferred universities and colleges.

VSA Future’s SAT Preparation Program Can Help Your Child Attain Better SAT Scores

Our SAT Preparation program has three levels—S-A, S-B, and S-C for grades 10 to 12.

Classes will be held from October 2021 to March 2022 in preparation for the SAT scheduled on March 12, 2022. Our program offers 20-hour, 40-hour, and 50-hour classes based on diagnostic evaluation. We will also be providing 6 to 7 full-length mock tests.

VSA Future’s program is different from that of others because we put emphasis on tailoring the education we provide to the individual needs and preferences of our students. We also implement an individualized feedback program to help students identify areas they are struggling with. Most importantly, our team of excellent educators are well-versed in motivating students to perform their best by cultivating a growth mindset.

We at VSA Future believe that students best acquire knowledge by becoming active participants in their own learning—so that they don’t just memorize facts for the next test, but build skills that stay with them. We implement discussions as part of our teaching methods because not only does this encourage the students to research and learn about their own topic, but it also creates an opportunity to listen and respond to what their peers are saying.

On top of that, our holistic counseling process builds confident learners, thinkers, and leaders who thrive not only in the application process, but also in all future academic endeavors. From choosing schools and preparing essays to impressing your interviewer, VSA is with you every step of the way.  We also share The Road to Yale to our studentsa comprehensive guide written by admitted YALE students containing everything you need to know about the application process—from high school courses, resumes, common application essays, Why Yale essays, and other additional questions.

Using the Q Model to Motivate Your Child

We at VSA Future employ the use of the Q Model to inspire and motivate our students to enjoy the learning process and we do this via three steps:

Step 1: Build Trust

We establish rapport with the students and let them know that they can trust our educators to guide them in every step of the way.

Step 2: Set the Vision

We encourage the students to visualize their future and create a 5-year and 10-year goals to see what they want to achieve in life. Knowing their goals ahead of time will motivate them to study hard now.

Step 3: Action

Finally, we ask the students what are the actions that they can do now to help them achieve their goals.

Don’t Let the School Pick You, Pick the School You Want!

Acing the SAT is a surefire gateway to enrolling in your dream school because it is the go-to assessment tool of colleges when it comes to student admission to their campus. If you get high scores on this test, there is no doubt that the school you prefer would have no doubts admitting you to their program.

That said, preparing for the SAT could be stressful for students, but it does not have to be. Put your best self forward in the admissions process with the help of VSA’s experienced teachers, editors, and mentors. Our comprehensive guides build confident learners, thinkers, and leaders who thrive not only in the application process, but also in all their future academic endeavors.
